La Cenicienta es un cuento muy famoso del que existen muchas versiones.
La más antigua sería la del italiano Giambattista Basile, sin embargo las más famosas son las de Charles Perrault y la de los Hermanos Grimm.

Once upon a time, in a distant kingdom, lived a young woman named Cinderella who resided with her wicked stepmother and two stepsisters. Despite the hardships and cruelty she faced, Cinderella always maintained an optimistic and kind demeanor. Her life changed forever when the King announced a grand ball in honor of his son, the Prince, with the intention of finding him a wife. Although Cinderella longed to attend, she knew her stepmother would never allow it. However, with the help of her Fairy Godmother, who appeared just when Cinderella needed her most, her dreams came true. With a wave of her magic wand, she transformed a pumpkin into a carriage, mice into horses, and Cinderella’s tattered clothes into a dazzling gown. But there was a catch: at midnight, everything would revert to its original state. At the ball, Cinderella captivated the Prince. None of those present, including the Prince, knew who the mysterious lady was who had burst onto the scene and stolen all hearts. But as midnight approached, Cinderella remembered the Fairy Godmother’s words and fled from the palace, leaving behind a glass slipper. The Prince, determined to find the woman who had captured his heart, sent his men with the glass slipper. Visiting every house in the kingdom, they finally arrived at Cinderella’s. Despite her stepmother’s tricks, the slipper fit Cinderella’s foot perfectly, proving she was the mysterious lady from the ball. Cinderella and the Prince were reunited, and after defeating the stepmother’s malicious schemes, they lived happily ever after. Había una vez, en un reino lejano, una joven llamada Cenicienta que vivía con su malvada madrasta y sus dos hermanastras. A pesar de las dificultades y la crueldad que enfrentaba, Cenicienta mantenía siempre una actitud optimista y amable.
Su vida cambió para siempre cuando el Rey anunció un gran baile en honor de su hijo, el Príncipe, con la intención de que encontrara una esposa. Aunque Cenicienta anhelaba asistir, sabía que su madrastra nunca lo permitiría.
Sin embargo, con la ayuda de su Hada Madrina, quien apareció justo cuando Cenicienta más la necesitaba, sus sueños se hicieron realidad. Con un toque de su varita mágica, transformó una calabaza en una carruaja, ratones en caballos, y las harapientas ropas de Cenicienta en un vestido deslumbrante. Pero todo esto tendría un precio: a la medianoche, todo volvería a su estado original.
En el baile, Cenicienta cautivó al Príncipe. Ninguno de los presentes, incluido el Príncipe, sabía quién era la misteriosa dama que había irrumpido en la escena y robado todos los corazones. Pero, conforme se acercaba la medianoche, Cenicienta recordó las palabras del Hada Madrina y huyó del palacio, dejando atrás un zapato de cristal.
El Príncipe, determinado a encontrar a la mujer que había capturado su corazón, envió a sus hombres con el zapato de cristal. Visitando cada casa en el reino, finalmente llegaron a la de Cenicienta. A pesar de las trampas de su madrastra, el zapato encajó perfectamente en el pie de Cenicienta, demostrando que ella era la dama misteriosa del baile.
Cenicienta y el Príncipe se reunieron y, tras derrotar las maliciosas artimañas de la madrastra, vivieron felices para siempre.
Y así termina nuestro cuento, una historia donde el amor, la bondad y un poco de magia vencen todas las adversidades.
